The Time It Takes to Change a Life

Alright, readers, it’s time to get inspired.

A friend shared this video with me on Facebook, and within seconds of watching it, I knew I had to share it with all of you!

This video really resonated with me. While cerebellar hypoplasia may be becoming more and more well-known every day, a general misunderstanding about the condition can scare off some folks from adopting these sweet cats — not to mention lead some groups to euthanize them unnecessarily.

But groups like the Mia Foundation, as well as our whole community, remind me of the simple power of caring and believing in a creature, and how that belief and care can transform a life. In some cases, that transformation may be considerable, like with Mick, but sometimes by caring for a special needs creature, we see a greater transformation in our own lives.
